This Refund Policy explains how refund requests are handled for VidArchitect subscriptions and purchases.
VidArchitect is a software-as-a-service product that provides AI-powered analysis of publicly available video content for learning, productivity, and technical planning. Payments may be processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. If your payment was processed by Paddle, refunds may also be handled through Paddle according to Paddle’s processes and applicable law.
This Refund Policy is the official VidArchitect refund policy for subscriptions and purchases.
1. General Policy
We want users to have a fair experience while also protecting VidArchitect from automated abuse, excessive token consumption, and high infrastructure costs.
VidArchitect may apply fair-use limits, including Free usage of 2 analyses/week and 8/month with a 15-minute maximum video length, and VidArchitect Pro usage of 10 analyses/day and 200/month with a 5-hour maximum video length. Limits may be adjusted to protect service quality.
Refunds may be considered when:
- You were charged by mistake
- You were charged more than once for the same subscription period
- A technical issue prevented you from using the paid features
- You contacted us within the refund request window described below
Refunds may be declined when:
- The subscription was actively used for a significant number of analyses
- Usage limits were substantially consumed
- The account shows signs of automated, abusive, or policy-violating usage
- The request relates to a partial billing period after normal use
- The request is made outside the refund request window, unless required by law
2. Refund Request Window
You may contact us within 14 days of your initial purchase or renewal if you believe you are eligible for a refund.

- The email address used for your VidArchitect account
- The approximate purchase date
- The reason for the refund request
- Any Paddle receipt or transaction reference if available
3. Subscription Cancellations
You may cancel your subscription at any time where account management is available.
Cancellation normally stops future renewals. It does not automatically refund the current billing period unless required by law or unless your request qualifies under this Refund Policy.
After cancellation, access to paid features generally continues until the end of the current billing period.
4. Technical Issues
If a technical issue prevents you from using VidArchitect, please contact us first so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
If we cannot provide a reasonable solution, we may offer a refund, account credit, extension of service, or another fair remedy depending on the situation.
5. Abuse and Fair Use
VidArchitect uses paid AI infrastructure and server resources. To keep the product affordable and reliable, refunds are not intended to cover heavy usage followed by cancellation.
No refunds are provided for abusive or automated usage. We may deny refund requests linked to:
- Bot or automated usage
- Attempts to bypass usage limits
- Account sharing or resale
- Excessive analysis activity inconsistent with normal use
- Violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use rules
6. Paddle Payments
If your payment was processed by Paddle, Paddle may handle parts of the billing and refund process as Merchant of Record. Paddle may also apply buyer protection, tax, billing, and compliance processes required by applicable law.
Your payment statement may show Paddle, VidArchitect, GEEX AI, or a similar descriptor.
7. Legal Rights
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.
If there is a conflict between this Refund Policy and mandatory legal rights in your jurisdiction, the mandatory legal rights apply.
