These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of VidArchitect, including the VidArchitect Chrome Extension, website, APIs, analysis features, exports, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use VidArchitect.

These Terms are the official VidArchitect Terms of Service for users of the website, Chrome Extension, APIs, and related services.

1. What VidArchitect Does

VidArchitect is a software-as-a-service productivity tool that helps users analyze publicly available YouTube videos and generate structured notes, technical insights, learning summaries, workflow outlines, and AI-ready implementation prompts.

Depending on your plan and the available source material, VidArchitect may generate:

• Structured video summaries
• Engineering-style blueprints
• Workflow and implementation notes
• Mermaid-style architecture diagrams when appropriate
• AI-ready prompt suggestions
• Markdown or other export formats
• Optional visual/frame-based insights when available

VidArchitect does not download, host, re-upload, redistribute, or provide unauthorized access to YouTube videos. The Service is intended for lawful learning, research, productivity, and content-planning workflows.

2. Accounts and Authentication

To use VidArchitect, you may be required to create an account using a valid email address.

• Authentication may be handled by email OTP or another secure login method.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure.
• You may not share, sell, rent, or transfer your account to another person.
• We may suspend or restrict accounts that appear to be automated, abusive, duplicated to bypass limits, or used in violation of these Terms.

3. Subscription Plans and Usage Limits

VidArchitect offers a Free plan and one paid plan, VidArchitect Pro. Available plan details, prices, usage limits, and feature availability are shown on our Pricing page.

Current launch limits:

VidArchitect Pro has a regular price of $3.99/month. A launch offer of $1.99/month may be available for the first 100 users.

We may adjust plan features, usage limits, or prices from time to time to protect service quality. Material changes to paid plans will be communicated in advance where required by law.

4. Billing and Paddle

Paid subscriptions may be processed by Paddle. Paddle may act as Merchant of Record for purchases, which means Paddle may handle payment processing, invoices, applicable taxes, and billing-related support.

• Prices are listed in USD unless stated otherwise.
• Taxes such as VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your location.
• We do not store your full payment card details.
• Your payment statement may show Paddle, VidArchitect, GEEX AI, or a similar descriptor.

If Paddle is used for your purchase, your payment may also be subject to Paddle’s buyer terms and policies.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

You may cancel a paid subscription at any time where account functionality is available. Cancellation stops future renewals, but access generally continues until the end of the current paid billing period.

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy and applicable law. In general, refunds may be considered for billing errors, duplicate payments, or technical issues that prevent use of the Service. Heavy, automated, abusive, or policy-violating usage may limit refund eligibility. No refunds are provided for abusive or automated usage.

6. Fair Use and Abuse Prevention

VidArchitect relies on third-party AI infrastructure and server resources. To keep the Service stable, affordable, and fair for legitimate users, usage limits and abuse controls apply.

You agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, automation, or multiple accounts to bypass limits
• Run batch processing unless explicitly allowed by your plan
• Share one account across multiple unrelated users
• Resell VidArchitect access without written permission
• Attempt to overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service
• Circumvent quotas, cooldowns, authentication, or security controls

We may throttle, block, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create unusual infrastructure risk.

7. Acceptable Use

You may use VidArchitect only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You must not use the Service to:

• Violate copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other third-party rights
• Download, copy, redistribute, or re-host third-party video content without permission
• Bypass access controls or platform restrictions
• Misrepresent AI-generated output as human-authored work in deceptive contexts
• Generate or distribute harmful, illegal, misleading, or abusive content
• Build a competing automated scraping or content-copying service
• Use outputs in a way that violates YouTube’s terms, Paddle’s acceptable use requirements, or applicable law

VidArchitect is a productivity and analysis tool. It is not a video downloader, streaming-copying tool, or content redistribution platform.

8. YouTube and Third-Party Content

VidArchitect may process publicly available video metadata, transcripts, titles, and related information to generate analysis outputs.

• We do not claim ownership of third-party video content.
• You are responsible for ensuring your use of analyzed content and generated outputs complies with applicable law and third-party terms.
• Generated outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or influenced by the available transcript and metadata.

9. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

The Service, extension, website, software, code, design, branding, analysis workflows, and related technology are owned by GEEX AI or its licensors.

Your Outputs

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use analysis outputs generated for your account for personal or commercial productivity purposes. However, you may not resell the Service itself, sublicense access, or use VidArchitect to infringe third-party rights.

10. AI Output Disclaimer

VidArchitect uses AI systems and third-party model providers. AI-generated outputs may contain mistakes, omissions, hallucinations, outdated information, or formatting errors.

You are responsible for reviewing, validating, and testing any output before relying on it for business, engineering, legal, educational, or other decisions.

11. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, third-party provider outages, YouTube availability, AI provider limits, or other factors outside our control.

12. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data will be processed as described there.

13. Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create security or infrastructure risk, misuse the Service, or if required by law or a payment provider.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Data retention after termination is described in our Privacy Policy.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that outputs will be accurate, complete, suitable for your use case, or free from errors.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GEEX AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months before the claim, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through email, the website, or the Service where required.

Continued use of VidArchitect after updated Terms take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

The governing law and venue should reflect the legal entity or registered business information used for GEEX AI and Paddle onboarding. This section should be finalized after confirming the business registration jurisdiction.
